WordPress is probably the easiest to install and the most frustrating part is the theme customization. There are very few non techies or even techies who would not agree.

When I first started my wordpress website, I looked around for a magazine or a newspaper theme. I went in circles. There were only paid themes. One free theme which was available was pure black and white. The other I saw was unsuitable as the side bars would drop down. Then I learn’t that all wordpress themes look same.

So, I thought atleast I should get a 4 column theme. Hahaha!, even that was not available. I got one with two sidebars dropping each time I pot an advertisement on it.

To many of us serious bloggers, there is no way out. Either put up with free themes with less functionality or code our own theme. Coding our own there is a daunting task for a beginner and even some Pro’s.
