Does rel=”nofollow” tag work? I am not asking if google can track it or adheres to it. For past few years I have been hearing Brouhaha about no follow links. Experts warning on internet how google will take revenge on you and your blog.

I have been using raw links in my blogs. Never followed nofollow requirements. I am trying this tag in this blog though. I just want to see the difference.

To be frank, one of my blog got a page rank demotion : from page rank 2 to page rank 0. The reason was selling advertisements to key words inside the post. Then I decided to fight for it. I followed a few tricks and pulled it back to page rank 2. And I still sell those links in my post.

What are your experiences with no follow links?
